David Williams is a senior engineering manager with the Boeing Company’s Space and Intelligence Systems division in Seal Beach, California. He began his 20 plus year aerospace career with McDonnell-Douglas in St. Louis following a 23 Navy year career where he enlisted as a Seaman Recruit and retired as a Naval Flight Officer with the rank of Lieutenant Commander. During his distinguished Naval career Dave served with various afloat and staff commands and graduated from the Naval Test Pilot school in 1983. He was honored as the Naval Air Test Center’s Flight Test Officer of the Year in 1984.
Dave joined the Board of Directors for the Be Aware Foundation in 2011. Dave and his wife Nancy, a breast cancer survivor, are Co-Chair persons of the 2011 Be Aware Foundation Stomp Out Breast Cancer event scheduled for October 2, 2011 at the Strawberry Farms Golf Club. Dave and Nancy reside in Irvine and have six children and ten grandchildren.
