Research

The Be Aware Foundation funds clinical research through a partnership with Breastlink, fully integrated centers that are dedicated to providing the full continuum of care for individuals with breast cancer. Our clinical research programs are centered in Southern California – current offices in Hawthorne, Orange County, Encino, Rancho Mirage and Temecula.

• Research trials are conducted in a private practice setting rather than a hospital environment.
• Our research portfolio is determined by the needs of our patients and addresses patient needs along the entire continuum of care.
• Our focus allows breast cancer patients access to cutting edge treatments for newly diagnosed and metastatic disease.
• Our research includes studies focused on “survivorship” issues to provide quality of life after breast cancer.
• We are oriented to pursuing the most clinically relevant and advanced interventions.
• Our dedicated research staff has a combined experience of more than 75 years in the conduct and management of clinical trials.
• Our programs are freed from alliances which might restrict our ability to gain access to important treatments and characterized by true collaboration amongst unlikely partners- physicians in private practice, pharmaceutical or device industry and researchers in academia.
